As someone who gets frustrated when an order isn’t right, I was relieved by how they handled this. A few seeds didn’t arrive properly, but they took care of it without making it a big hassle. The refund came through quickly, and they even sent a replacement for the missing part. Overall, I’m happy with how easy and fair the whole thing was.

My first thought when I opened the catalog was that it was actually easy to use. Everything felt clear enough, and I was able to find what I needed quickly without overthinking it.

I’ll admit I’m a bit biased because I like really detailed, hand-holding kind of gardening advice, especially since I’m still learning. The basics were there, but I found myself wanting more specifics on spacing and what to do when the weather gets unpredictable. My beans did grow, so the info definitely wasn’t bad, but the results weren’t amazing either. For a beginner like me, it felt useful but a little too basic.

Some of the seeds came up, but a good chunk didn’t. Meh. I’d say germination was around half, which was disappointing, but not a total disaster. Bummer.

Just a warning for anyone thinking about ordering, my package arrived in a beat-up box, and the seed packets were just loose inside sliding all over the place. A couple of them were bent, and one had even split open a bit, so there were seeds scattered in the bottom of the box. There was no padding or protection at all. For the price, I expected way better. I wouldn’t order again unless they seriously improve the packaging.

Vermont Bean has a decent mix of beans and garden seeds, and I did find a few varieties I don’t normally see at local stores, which was nice.

That said, it was a little annoying because some sections felt limited, and a couple of the exact varieties I wanted were out of stock. I ended up having to switch things around in my order.

Overall, it’s not a bad place to shop, and I’d probably check it again, but I wish the selection was more consistent so it didn’t feel like a bit of a hassle.

I ordered these from vermontbean.com and the seeds did grow just fine, so I cant really complain about that part. The only thing is the packet felt a bit lighter than I expected for what I paid. Maybe I shouldve looked at the details more closely before ordering, but it was still a little disappointing. Not a bad buy, just wasnt as great as I hoped.

My bean seeds showed up looking kind of old and like they’d been damp at some point. A few of the packets even had a musty smell, which didn’t feel like a good sign. Germination was really disappointing, so I don’t think I’ll be ordering from Vermont Bean again...

I got some bean seeds from Vermont Bean, and it was fine for the most part. The website was easy to figure out, and the order did show up, though it took a bit longer than I thought it would. Some of the seeds grew really well, but a few just kind of barely sprouted or didn’t do much. So, not bad or anything, but not exactly amazing either. I’d maybe order again if they had something specific I was looking for
